Domaine de la Côte is a collection of vineyards in the far western reaches of the Santa Rita Hills.. Each vineyard has a unique geology, aspect, elevation, and microclimate, creating distinct expressions of terroir. The southwest-facing estate, seven miles from the Pacific Ocean, is battered by wind and often blanketed in oceanic fog. A long growing season, low yields, and small clusters with little to no seeds, lend themselves to savory, Burgundian-style wines.

Laurel Glen Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon is recognized as one of the Cabernets that established California’s reputation, and has set the standard for Sonoma. Proprietor Bettina Sichel is 5th Generation of a European Wine-Making family. The 14-acre organically farmed vineyard, originally planted in 1968, was planted exclusively to Cabernet Sauvignon and to the Laurel Glen clone of Cabernet Sauvignon, recognized as a unique clone by UC Davis.

EVENING LAND VINEYARDS

Evening Land Vineyards began in 2007, with Dominique Lafon serving as the consulting winemaker, marking his first project in the U.S. In 2014, Sashi Moorman and Rajat Parr joined the team, taking over the stewardship of the Seven Springs Vineyard in Oregon’s Eola-Amity Hills. Planted in 1982, Seven Springs sits on the eastern side of Oregon’s Eola-Amity Hills. The vineyard faces the morning sun and rises to an elevation of 700 feet. This site is historically significant in American viticulture and has provided fruit for many of the most decorated and award-winning wines from Oregon. The estate’s oldest own-rooted blocks are a testament to, and daily reminder of, Oregon’s incredible history and potential.
