Bricoleur | bri · co · leur | French — One who starts building something with no clear plan, adding bits here and there, cobbling together a whole while flying by the seat of their pants. Bricoleur Vineyards is a family-owned, family-operated winery often considered the Russian River Valley’s hidden gem. Bricoleur Vineyards crafts ultra-premium, organically farmed, California Certified Sustainable wines from Sonoma County.
CALLUNA VINEYARDS
Chalk Hill, CA
Founded in 2004 with the acquisition of an undeveloped 80 acre hillside parcel located in the Chalk Hill growing area of Sonoma County. The 17 acre estate vineyard is planted on the optimal hillside and ridgetop sites with the sole focus on Bordeaux varietals. Calluna’s unique positioning and microclimate allow us to craft glorious California wines made in traditional Bordeaux style.
DOMAINE DE LA CÔTE
Sta Rita Hills, CA
Domaine de la Côte is a collection of vineyards in the far western reaches of the Santa Rita Hills.. Each vineyard has a unique geology, aspect, elevation, and microclimate, creating distinct expressions of terroir. The southwest-facing estate, seven miles from the Pacific Ocean, is battered by wind and often blanketed in oceanic fog. A long growing season, low yields, and small clusters with little to no seeds, lend themselves to savory, Burgundian-style wines.

Hamel creates Bordeaux-style wines from high-elevation micro-terroirs that express the energy of their volcanic soil sites in the western Mayacamas Mountains. Based out of Sonoma and focused exclusively on estate wines from Sonoma Valley and Moon Mountain District, Hamel's unwavering focus in winegrowing and winemaking is on maintaining the link between wine and its terroir.
LAUREL GLEN VINEYARD
Sonoma Mountain, CA
Laurel Glen Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon is recognized as one of the Cabernets that established California’s reputation, and has set the standard for Sonoma. Proprietor Bettina Sichel is 5th Generation of a European Wine-Making family. The 14-acre organically farmed vineyard, originally planted in 1968, was planted exclusively to Cabernet Sauvignon and to the Laurel Glen clone of Cabernet Sauvignon, recognized as a unique clone by UC Davis.
PIEDRASASSI
Central Coast, CA
Started in 2003 by Sashi Moorman, Piedrasassi primarily cultivates and vinifies wines from Syrah. Sashi’s engagement with Syrah is informed equally by the viticultural heritage of the Northern Rhône and the pioneering ethos of the Central Coast. Piedrasassi wines are organized by the appellation from which they come, with each specific lieu-dit called out on the label.

[sam-sahr-uh] Origin: Sanskrit noun. the endless series of births, deaths, and rebirths to which all beings are subject. Samsara’s focus is on showcasing the unique and expressive terroir of the Sta. Rita Hills and proximate cool-climate vineyards. Their focus is on producing honest, balanced wines in small lots that are true to place and vintage. They believe in sustainability from the vineyard to the winery, which includes not only organics, biodynamics and hand-farming, as well as cultural sustainability.

When Sashi Moorman and Rajat Parr started Sandhi, their mission was to change the perception of California Pinot Noir and Chardonnay and prove that California does indeed have terroir. The belief was that the Sta. Rita Hills is as complex and dynamic as the world’s greatest wine appellations. Of these wines, the Chardonnays are the most profound. The transverse hills, shale-laced soils, warm sun and cooling afternoon breeze make the Sta. Rita Hills is ideal for the cultivation of this grape.

ANALEMMA WINES

The analemma is a figure-eight shape the sun makes in the sky over a calendar year. This shape is a visual representation of a specific place on earth, acting as a fingerprint of place. Analemma is a Demeter Certified Biodynamic® grower-producer crafting wines from 100% Columbia Gorge fruit. With a commitment to growing biodynamic fruit from inception, we began farming in The Gorge in 2010 and planted the first vines at our estate in Mosier in 2012. Analemma exists to craft characterful wines and foster life through a soulful approach to farming and winemaking. We're built upon a model of a true grower-producer (vigneron).
EVENING LAND VINEYARDS
Salem, OR
Evening Land Vineyards began in 2007, with Dominique Lafon serving as the consulting winemaker, marking his first project in the U.S. In 2014, Sashi Moorman and Rajat Parr joined the team, taking over the stewardship of the Seven Springs Vineyard in Oregon’s Eola-Amity Hills. Planted in 1982, Seven Springs sits on the eastern side of Oregon’s Eola-Amity Hills. The vineyard faces the morning sun and rises to an elevation of 700 feet. This site is historically significant in American viticulture and has provided fruit for many of the most decorated and award-winning wines from Oregon. The estate’s oldest own-rooted blocks are a testament to, and daily reminder of, Oregon’s incredible history and potential.

Rasa Vineyards is the realization of two brothers’ passion, vision and commitment to create a world-class winery focused on producing ultra-premium, terroir specific wines from Eastern Washington and Northeastern Oregon. Their winemaking philosophy is to respect the terroir and practice minimal intervention in order to highlight the essence of the grape and place where it is grown.
